Latest Updates
Sunday, 15 January 2023 01:22 AM The Honda CBR250RR has become even better with its recent upgrade in Japan. It has been equipped with new shades and a more powerful engine, offering more power and torque.
Tuesday, 24 January 2023 12:35 AM Honda may discontinue the CBR250R as it does not conform to BS6 emission standards. Its global replacement is the CBR300R, which has been available for some time. The CB300R is Honda's current choice for a supersport.
Thursday, 18 July 2024 08:36 AM Rumors suggest that the 2024 Honda CBR250RR-R will feature an inline four-cylinder engine producing 55hp and revving up to 20,000 rpm, competing directly with the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R. This new engine could significantly enhance the bikes performance and appeal.
Sunday, 14 July 2024 07:59 PM The 2024 Honda CBR250RR boasts a sharp, aggressive design that improves aerodynamics and handling. It is equipped with a high-revving 249cc parallel-twin engine, a 6-speed transmission, and advanced safety features like ABS and Hondas selectable torque control system. I believe this design and tech combo makes it a great choice for both new and experienced riders.
Wednesday, 26 June 2024 12:03 PM The 2024 Honda CBR250RR has been updated with a refined 249cc twin-cylinder engine, producing 41hp at 13,000rpm and 25Nm of torque at 11,000rpm, a slight increase from the previous model. The bike also features a 37mm Showa Separate Function Big Piston fork and a preload-adjustable monoshock. I think these updates make it an even more appealing option for sportbike enthusiasts.
Wednesday, 26 June 2024 11:11 AM Honda has introduced the CBR250RR in Malaysia, priced at around Rs 5 lakh, making it a premium offering. The bike includes advanced features like a blue backlit LCD dash, an all-LED lighting system, and dual-channel ABS. Given its high price, its unlikely to be launched in India anytime soon.
Wednesday, 02 August 2023 03:34 PM Honda has unveiled the 2023 CBR250RR SP version, which includes the Japanese brand’s SP colors and a slight power increase to 45hp. The bike also features a six-speed gearbox with a quickshifter. While this model is not expected in India, it highlights Hondas continuous improvement in their sportbike lineup.
Wednesday, 02 August 2023 07:32 AM The Honda CBR250RR is known for its lightweight and nimble chassis, designed for precise handling and maneuverability. The bikes suspension system is tuned for sporty riding dynamics, offering a balance of comfort and responsiveness. I think this makes it an excellent choice for riders looking for a fun and agile bike.
Wednesday, 02 August 2023 10:43 AM The 2024 Honda CBR250RR has a fuel tank capacity of 14.5 liters and a kerb weight of 189kg, balancing performance and fuel efficiency. The bike also features 17-inch alloy wheels and a modern LED lighting setup. This combination of features makes it a compelling option for those seeking a sporty yet practical ride.
Wednesday, 02 August 2023 11:31 PM Hondas decision to not launch the CBR250RR in India is largely due to the price sensitivity in the market. The bikes high price tag, around Rs 5 lakh, makes it less competitive against other options available in the Indian market.
Wednesday, 02 August 2023 01:52 PM The CBR250RRs engine has been refined to reduce the combustion volume and increase the compression ratio, resulting in a smoother engine response. This update, along with the increased intake port diameter, enhances the overall performance of the bike. I think these tweaks will be appreciated by riders who enjoy pushing their bikes to the limit.
Wednesday, 02 August 2023 05:03 PM The 2024 Honda CBR250RR is equipped with advanced safety features, including ABS and Hondas selectable torque control system, which enhance traction and stability during acceleration and cornering. This focus on safety makes the bike more appealing to a wider range of riders.

India Launch Update This may not be a piece of good news for Honda fans but the launch of CBR250RR in India is only possible via local production route. At present, the 2021 model of the sportbike is available in Japan for JPY 8,21,700 (INR 5.79 lakh, approx). An aggressive and affordable price tag via CKD (Completely Knocked Down) route is not possible as placing the CBR250RR at around INR 3.75-4.00 lakh (ex-showroom) would not get the number of buyers required by Honda to keep the operations going. If Honda starts the local production of CBR250RR and manages to price the sports bike at around INR 3 lakh, only then the brand would be able to get a decent sales number in India. As of now, HMSI has not announced anything officially regarding the launch of the CBR250RR in India. The brand may consider the sports bike for the Indian market at a later stage in future.

Cross Beam Racer 250 R

Samrudh Dixit | 2 years ago

CBR should be a genre of Cross Beam Racer but not this 250R. Its more of a compromise on quick bike to make a to do all tourer. Comfortable stance with good wind block from the fairing. Quality of components is really good but misses out on no. of components, like side stand indicator and no radiator protection. First thing I did was dump those ContiGO's/MRF's and put Michelin Street Pilot radials the accuracy on leans and grip is way sorted than stock (note rounder profile of rear tyre makes it a bit shaky after 100kph). It's a infantly sensitive on 1st to 3rd gear (forearm clutch exercise in traffic) but post that 4th-5th have a mid range hammer to 6th, which can take 5k to 8.5k revs; from 70kph to 130ish kph. But passing power in 7. 5k to 8. 5k revs is non-existent/mellow. To conclude, if you want one bite of all types of bikes it's a good option and is a really exciting one. Though the price and updated competitors make it hard to recommend it now. (Honda should desperately launch 300 etc.)

Best Features: 6th gear is an overide, smooth gearbox and throttle response.

Pros: Mid Range - usable power & Well dressed - fairing works.

Cons: Minimal display & Low end wrt to gear ratios.

Honda CBR250R ABS 2016 MODEL (BLACK WITH GOLDEN STICKER)

Tanmoy kanti pal | 4 years ago

The bike is really good and comfortable for touring or long rides, its a sport tourer and not completely a sport bike so don't mix and compare with KTM RC 200 or Ninja. It is best in its sphere of 250cc. Considerable mileage of 30-40kmpl if u ride it with passion rather than rudely. And last but not the least nothing is perfect so make it perfect if u want and assurance lies with brand honda itself, get the road side assistance while purchasing and extended warranty.

Best Features: Comfortable with long rides, braking system, smooth and low-mid pickup, instant pickup, horn power

Pros: Handling, comfort, smooth pickup, sitting posture, pillion comfort, grabrail, storage inside bike, exhaust sound and braking with combined abs

Cons: Headlight power comparitively low though 55/60w, cornering is not confident with this, huge difference between 1st and 2nd gear, rear mudguard not enough to resist mud splashes

Perfect Tourer for India

raghav - | 8 years ago

Fantastic bike for touring and a great starter bike, but lacks in low end torque which is needed in the city, and looks a bit outdated. Would have been nice if the 300r was released last year. Probably has the best seating position in class. Has a meaty mid range and top end, ideal for high speed cruising on highways, very stable at high speeds. Engine is not stressed and is mod capable. City riding is manageable. Very very decent return of mile age depending on the riders' s riding style. Non existent exhaust note, poor low end torque.

Best Features: The engine, coolant system, seating position

Pros: The mid range and top end, cost of spares ,engine, coolant system

Cons: Non existent exhaust note, low end torque, slightly outdated looks, display, satisfactory braking (non abs)

Its rate and weight is more for normal commuters.Honda has to make 200/225cc bike with karizma R rate as a compitation to HERO KR.Honda has a tech of karizma so why dont it enter into 200 segment and becom as rival for BAZAJ.Bazaj has no stability and disturbing buyers with rs,as,ss,ns,xs,cs
